AC Milan have made a massive splash in the transfer market this window signing 9 players including big names like Leonardo Bonucci. Today Bild reported that the Italian giants are looking to make their tenth signing this summer, opting to take Portuguese midfielder Renato Sanches on loan from Bayern munich.
The Germans Club’s CEO Karl Heinz Rummenigge confirmed Milans rumoured approach today telling German media,”I can confirm that Milan have shown interest in Renato Sanches, but there is no agreement yet”. Milan’s offer is rumoured to be a 2 year loan for €7 million with an option to buy for €40 million in 2019.
The Portuguese wonder kid transferred to Bayern munich from Benfica last summer for €35 million after a breakthrough season in the Portuguese league and a strong performance at euro 2016. However he struggled in the Bundesliga, playing only 615 minutes. With the recent acquisitions of Corentin Tolisso and James Rodriguez, Bayern Munich are looking to offload the 19 year old who has been deemed surplus to requirements at the club.
